Nokia World 2011

Me and Lisa on the Wednesday promoting the Nokia Lumia SmartPhone at Nokia World 2011.

We were painted by the wonderful Wendy Olver and Linda Nazari.  Me and Lisa blended into the wall until we emerged to perform movement based acrobatics before blending back into the wall.

Siemens Event in Linz, Austria

Monday, October 24th, 2011

Amongst other gigs that I don’t have pictures of! then last week I went to Austria to perform at an Olympic themed gala night for Siemens.  I had a lovely time and my 2 handstand acts plus gymnastics walkabout performance went down really well.

It’s my Birthday and I have cake !!!!!

I am not sure quite how it is my birthday, the year has flown by far too quickly!  It has been a good year though.  I had a good 28th year of my life.I see each birthday as an achievement.  Some people aren’t lucky enough to survive to age 29, and so I count all my blessings that I am 29 and happy, healthy, and leading a good life.  Otherwise why celebrate?

Anyway…October!  Will take me to gigs mostly in London, but also in Austria, and in early November to Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines.  So a very exciting few months ahead, and i am excited already 🙂

National Veterans Championships 2011

Sunday, October 2nd, 2011

British National Veterans Competition in Leicester.  Since I had minimal preparation/practice time and have not done gymnastics routines or any vault for many years then I entered the intermediate section.

I woke up on the day of the competition ill and with a chest of near solid phlegm and no voice.  But it was a team competition as well and so i decided to compete anyway. It was completely not the routines I had done in the gym, my body had not much fight in it and I was really struggling to breathe. But I won the silver medal in the individual competition, and the team i was representing (East London) got silver in the team competition 🙂    I was very very happy with my result.
