Day 2 – Attempt 2I did 30.  Getting there!!! Really is so dizzifying!

I’m only doing one attempt each session because i have so much else to train that has higher priorities and I don’t want to tire myself doing a for fun challenge which if I wear myself out it will fatigue me for the rest of my session.

50 Handstand Pirouettes – My New Challenge – Day 1

Monday, July 23rd, 2012

To keep life entertaining I have given myself a challenge of 50 Handstand Pirouettes in a row without coming down, legs together.  I might do a separate challenge for h.pirouettes with legs in box splits (helicopters).  Also how many I can do in one minute. No more than 4 hand placements per pirouette allowed as per gymnastics rules!

Day 1 was, today!

I managed 25.

What makes me come down before anything else is that I get dizzy, after a while i see circles on the floor.  Going back about 8 years i remember being able to do between 30 and 35.  At my gym in the battle for who could do the most it would used be everyone else in my group’s cumulative score against mine.

I am really really wanting to do 50.  I am going to blog when i hit 30,35,40,45, and 50 🙂   Hopefully I’ll pop a video up each time, but tbh it’s a little bit repetitive to watch and may be slightly boring to watch!

Quick Update!

Thursday, July 12th, 2012

I haven’t updated for a while, it isn’t because i haven’t been up to much, but rather that i have been so busy that I just haven’t had a chance to update!

It has been a very interesting and wonderful month.  I have filmed a fabulous television show (more about this once it is aired), broken a Guinness World Record for the most people in a photobooth, been to the Ukraine for Euro 2012 final celebrations where I performed harness work and contortion, done another wonderful photoshoot with Michael Palmer, as well as perform handbalance, aerial hoop, and contortion at various events around the UK, and also coaching my little gymnasts to their next awards.  So yeah, it’s been kind of busy!!!  But fabulously exciting.

Life stays exciting and I have more exciting gigs and photoshoots coming up which I can’t wait to blog about in future posts 🙂
